The 14th Annual White Sands Balloon Invitational will be held
September 24 and 25, 2005.   Approximately 80 colorful balloons
are expected to take part in the event, flying over the city of
Alamogordo, New Mexico, and the beautiful gypsum dunes of the
White Sands National Monument. 

This unique celebration of flight is the ONLY event where private
aircraft are permitted to fly over National Park Service land.
